Kelly graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 1995. She also has a Bachelor of Physical Education. She completed the highest level of Certification in Manual and Manipulative Therapy that is internationally recognized (FCAMPT 2003), certification in Acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (1998) and Certification in Selective Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Systems (2013). Kelly is the owner of Fifth Avenue Physiotherapy and also treats clients, focusing on optimizing their function and performance, and working closely with them to achieve their goals. She has a passion for assessing and treating acute and chronic spinal pain and shoulder conditions. Kelly uses her background in Manual Therapy, Intramuscular Stimulation and functional movements to help her clients reach their goals. An avid learner, Kelly continues to take courses and attend conferences to learn about the latest research to best help her clients. Kelly also works as a consultant at Evidence Sport and Spinal Therapy, a multidisciplinary clinic within the Advanced Spinal Care Centre where she assesses and treats complex spinal conditions, and works with chronic pain Physicians and Interventional Radiologists. When Kelly is not working, she enjoys spending her free time outdoors skiing, hiking and mountain biking with her husband and two teenage boys.
