Amanda graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Mount Royal College in 2000. She is a registered Massage Therapist and a member of MTAA. Amanda continues to expand her knowledge and Massage techniques by taking courses in Thai Massage, Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release. She specializes in Deep Therapeutic Massage for relief of stress and discomfort, and routinely treats individuals with sports related injuries, TMJ problems, repetitive strain disorders, whiplash, headaches, sciatica and prenatal issues. Treatments may include a variety of techniques such as Swedish Massage, PNF, Static Pressure and Trigger Point Therapy. In 2007 Amanda became a yoga teacher and has since been teaching alignment focused yoga classes and yoga Therapy. She is an all-season enthusiastic cyclist, and loves music, cooking and spending time outside. When she’s not at work she can usually be found on her yoga mat. Amanda has a high degree of dedication and enthusiasm towards the health care of her clients.
